I've spent my career in rooms where the problem isn't well-defined yet. No existing blueprint, competing priorities, zero-reference domains. My job is figuring out what matters first, to whom, and why — and then building the conditions for the right answer to emerge.
I've led product across greenfield cybersecurity platforms, enterprise modernisation programmes, and revenue-critical consumer systems. The common thread isn't the domain — it's operating at the intersection of technical complexity, organisational ambiguity, and real business stakes. I've worked closely with founders, CTOs, and executive teams on the kinds of problems that don't have a template.
I tend to be the person in the room who asks the question everyone else is avoiding. Not because I enjoy discomfort, but because unasked questions have a way of becoming expensive surprises. I work best in contexts where clarity is earned, not assumed.
Merlin wasn't the hero of the story. He was the one who helped the hero see clearly. That's the role I've played in every product I've been part of — and the reason this site lives at the address it does.
